I'm into Highend headphones.. I know it's an odd hobby but to each his own..These would be the other headphones I currently own: AKG K701 Audio Technica ATH-M50 Sony MDR-V6 Shure SRH440 Beyerdynamic DT990 (600 OHM) Sennheiser HD598 Ultrasone PRO900 (Most of these need a headphone amp to bring out their full potential..) How do the beats studio sound? Well if I were to compare them to any of my headphones The detail in the headphones is lacking, bass is Strong (not as strong as the Ultrasones but The PRO900 cost almost $500) and muddy but overall they don't sound bad.. Some people say the bass is overpowering.. I don't think so. I think the bass could have been more controlled but i don't believe it's overpowering.. Truthfully the only reason I bought these is the color.. The big issue is they don't sound like $300 headphones.. I got my M50 for $120 And they sound...
