I bought my Diddy Beats on 8/4/2010 and I've been using them every day since.

Pros:
The bass. It's crazy. I love it. Has to be the best I've ever heard with in ear headphones
ControlTalk is great to answer the phone, music control, and controlling the volume
The flat wires are nice too
A lot of ear buds to select from
Great to exercise with

Cons:
The weight can cause discomfort from time to time
The shape and size of the headphones make them a little uncomfortable at times

The deal breaker:
The volume control stopped working. I've done some research and I do not appear to be alone with this problem. Sure they come with a one year warranty but what good is it if they can break in under two months. I am not rough on my headphones and I do not expect failure this soon. I just filled out my RMA so I hope the next pair hold up better.....

So I bought these last week and eagerly awaited their arrival. However, when I finally got them yesterday, my excitement was quickly shattered. On many of the reviews, I read the issues about fit but naturally assumed I would be immune from this gripe. Not so. The headphones are just too heavy, they pull out of the ear no matter what eartip I use. The included foam eartip was the best fit, but still not wonderful. Having had a pair of in-ears previously, I know this is not a normal thing for me. Then the kicker: I specifically bought these to work with my iPhone 4. The controls worked beautifully, but when I tried to place a call I heard a terribly loud background buzz/hum that originally just sounded like I was driving in a car on speakerphone. During the call, however, the sound was so loud on my end, I could barely focus on the call. Additionally, the caller on the other end could hear the noise. I got these with the expectation that they would deliver great sound and secure fit. I have been through other head phones and fit was fine. In fact, the fit on these is good, but the chord and microphone are so heavy the earbuds fall out all the time. Forget exercising with them - they are horrid. Also, the sound is not that great. These are not worth the money (although the packaging is very hip!)

Usually, I am not one for artist-endorsed products, but the GaGa Monster Heartbeats in-ear headphones looked so fab from pictures that I decided to check them out in real. For starters, the box looked really stylish and the headphones are placed in yet another black box which is magnetically latched. Once opened, you will see the bright chrome and white cables with the matching protective pouch. Once taken out, the headphones feel sturdy and the cables are truly tangle-free and every bit the trademark of Monster cables.

Now, beauty aside. The sound is amazing and it should be for it costs almost US$170 here than in the US. Once I picked the ear buds of the correct size, everything else is secondary. I connected the earphones to my iPhone and there was so much clarity and bass pumping from them at even 3/4 of the volume slider. I could hear almost all the background instrumentation and effects. So I just got my Bright Chrome Heartbeats yesterday. I originally wanted the Dr. Dre Beats headphones when they first came out but they were out of my price range. Being a fan of Lady Gaga and liking to look fashionable while listening to music I had to get these. Plus the price was in my budget! I must say I'm quite impressed. They come very nicely packaged with a fashionable looking case to keep them protected. The look of the headphones are very nice and I am loving the tangle free cords. I will say at first listen I wasn't blown away by the sound. You have to make sure if you're using them with an ipod, iphone, itouch or whatever "i" device you own that you change the settings to "sound check On", and make sure you have the best fit in your ear for the ear buds. It comes with 4 or 5 different sizes and I never was a fan of the kinds that stick in your ear, but these are the first that fit me comfortably and actually stay in my ears. I was looking to burn some birthday money and wanted to splurge on a pair of nice earbuds. Living in the city, I need the musical distraction for bus and subway rides, and to tune out annoying coworkers in a very crowded work environment. I initially wanted a pair of Beats, so I looked at their site and was thrilled to find the Heartbeats, as I am a huge Lady Gaga fan. I ordered a pair thinking I had ordered the "control talk" model, which I accidentally did not. Even then, I wanted to give them a chance and maybe keep them if they worked well. They were very disappointing. The sound quality is not as revolutionary compared to my $35 pair of Sony earbuds, and people are right - they DON'T STAY IN YOUR EAR, not even when I decided to buy the Comply foam ear inserts as some people had recommended. The Heartbeats 2.0 are a great upgrade from the original Heartbeats, in pretty much all aspects. The sound quality is clearer in all ranges, the design is more flattering, and the comfort of these are miles better than the triangle-shape of the original. The flat cable is also much more light-weight, which is great, since one of the drawbacks I had with the originals was having the earbuds fall out due to a heavy cable and awkward shaped ear tips.

I did not order straight from Amazon (bought them in-store at Best Buy), so there were some differences in the included items. Instead of 6 sets of ear tips, I got 5, but it was still very easy to find the right one for my ears. It also included 2 sets of tiered ear tips, one large and one small. Instead of a hard case, it came with a small black pouch with a gold stud in one corner and diamond pattern on one side, and "Lady Gaga" written in Born-This-Way-font on the other, all in black, and very subtle. You know what? Thanks Amazon for making this possible. They usually don't ship headphones Worldwide but they did right after I make a comment on this section.

I love Amazon. These heartbeats 2.0 took only 4 working days to arrive Malaysia. From US and all the way to Asia. It is THAT fast. But of course, the shipping fee is a little expensive but it's worth though.

I'm proud to say I'm the first crazy Little Monsters who got my heartbeats 2.0 in Malaysia. Right now nobody ever have it.

Heartbeats 2.0 is flawless, it handles the bass and make you listen what music is. I love the studs and it fits my ear perfectly and able to wear it more than 5 hours.

I will definitely get more stuff from Amazon instead of any other online stores.

The heartbeats 2.0 were just flawless. It could handle the bass very well. All high and low notes could be heard. Very good design. It also has a flat cable which makes the cable tangle-free. Eveything was good, but they should have included the volume in the control talk. BUt oh well, at least there was a play/end/call button.
